Tropicana Casino & Resort hosts “An Evening with Daughtry,” August 7

Tropicana Casino & Resort announced “An Evening with Daughtry” on Saturday, August 7 in the Tropicana Showroom. Tickets for “An Evening with Daughtry” go on sale Saturday, April 3 through Ticketmaster and the Tropicana Showroom at noon.

Daughtry’s newest album, Leave This Town, has racked up three number one songs and was five-times platinum. The album entered at the top of the Billboard 200, making it the band’s second number one album. The album’s first single, “No Surprise,” extended the group’s extraordinary streak of number one singles to four. The album also features the band’s second single "Life After You," plus “Everytime You Turn Around,” “September” and “Tennessee Line.”

Leave This Town includes collaborations with Vince Gill on “Tennessee Line,” Chad Kroeger, Mitch Allen on “Learned My Lesson,” and Brain Howes on “Ghost of Me.”

Daughtry features Chris Daughtry on vocals, Josh Paul on bass, Joey Barnes on drums, Brian Cradock on guitar and Josh Steely on guitar. For more information on Daughtry visit their official Web site at www.daughtryofficial.com.

Tickets for “An Evening with Daughtry” on Saturday, August 7 in the Tropicana Showroom go on sale Saturday, April 3 at noon , and are available at the Tropicana Box Office and through Ticketmaster. Tickets are price between $65 and $150.


Tropicana Casino & Resort Introduces Wasabi Wednesday Featuring Half Price Sushi And Sake

FIN, the hottest restaurant to open in Atlantic City this summer at the Tropicana Casino & Resort, is introducing Wasabi Wednesdays. From 5-7pm every Wednesday, The Bar at FIN will offer half-price sushi rolls, sake and saketini drinks.


The Bar at FIN offers seven types of sushi and six types of maki rolls, including ahi tuna, Scottish salmon, yellowtail hamachi, Pacific white shrimp, California king crab, spicy tuna, spicy blue crab, and eel and cucumber ranging in price from $2.50 to $6 during Wasabi Wednesdays. There are also three specialty rolls available starting at $6.00, such as the Green Dragon made with blue crab and cucumber topped with avocado.

Diners can choose from a variety of sake options with Wasabi Wednesday pricing starting at $4 and saketinis specially priced at $6.25, including the Orange Pearl Martini made with Stoli Citros Vodka, Sake and a splash of Grand Marnier.

Head Chef Demetrios Haronis’ vision for FIN is to offer a high-end culinary experience using the freshest local products that are available each season.  He meets with local fishermen and farmers to personally inspect their wares before purchasing. FIN's bar offers a special Bloody Mary recipe and daily evening cocktail specials with hand -crafted simple syrups and mixers as well as a variety of fresh squeezed juice drinks.

All of FIN's seats have an ocean view. The restaurant also has outdoor, oceanfront patio seating, weather permitting. The restaurant's design is "sea chic," and a modern mermaid theme is incorporated. FIN is open Wednesday through Sunday from
6-11:00pm.
