Hats! At Harrah’s

This witty stage show chronicles one woman’s anxiety over her impending fiftieth birthday and how she chooses to embrace the landmark event with the support of her friends. Already a smash hit with audiences and critics across the country, the 75-minute comedic musical production has been re-designed with a Las Vegas flair and is now entertaining Harrah’s audiences nightly.

HATS! is inspired by the fun-loving lifestyle encouraged by the Red Hat Society, founded by Sue Ellen Cooper. The Red Hat Society (RHS) is a worldwide organization with over 30,000 chapters in all 50 states plus 25 countries offering fun, community and
empowerment for passionate, likeminded women. RHS members believe in the joys of sisterhood at any age. The organization is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2008.

Approximately 1,700 members of the RHS were on the Las Vegas Strip to kick their way into the history books with a Guinness World Record attempt for “Most People in a Chorus Line.” Dressed in their sassy, signature, purple and red regalia, visitors to the Las Vegas Strip saw a mirage of purple and red that stretched nearly a half mile. The existing world record was set in 2004 with 1, 628 participants. The RHS is expecting over 1,700 participants. The attempt by the Red Hat Society to break the previous record is subject to authentication from the Guinness Committee.

HATS! performs Saturday – Thursday at 6 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets for HATS! are $49.95 (plus tax and fees). Special HATS! and Rita Rudner packages are available for $99 (plus tax and fees). RHS members with Purple Perks may purchase tickets for $39.95 (plus tax and fees).
